Before Procedure
- 1. Turn device ON (switch at back)
- 2. Open gas cylinder valve (CO₂/N₂O)
- 3. Remove probe cap & pass to assistant to scan RFID
- 4. Screw probe onto tube WITHOUT applying force
- 5. Press active button to calibrate — screen displays 'Ready to Freeze'
- 6. Switch mode to Manual in settings
During Procedure
- 1. Position probe tip on target tissue/lesion
- 2. Press blue foot pedal to initiate freezing
- 3. Monitor real-time temp & time countdown on LCD
- 4. Release blue pedal to end freezing cycle
- 5. Allow passive thawing before probe removal
After Procedure
- 1. Deactivate probe via yellow button on screen
- 2. Dismantle probe & screw RFID cap back on
- 3. Close gas cylinder valve
- 4. Press 'End of Operation' or start next patient
- 5. Send probe for steam autoclaving
