Patented European Platform

3. Key Features & Engineering Technology

Comprehensive technology suite from Metrum Cryoflex Poland designed for Ophthalmic, Gynaecological, and ENT cryosurgery.

RFID Smart Probe Recognition

Electronic chip communication automatically identifies probe model, configures optimal pressure, and prevents operator parameter errors.

Touchscreen Microprocessor Control

Displays probe temperature, gas pressure, flow rate, and treatment countdown timer live. Minimal manual input required from surgeon.

Voice Communication Guidance

Real-time voice guidance provides audio confirmation of probe status, freeze cycles, and system alerts without looking away from microscope.

Dual-Function Foot Switch

Mode selection, probe cleaning, and freeze activation can all be performed via foot pedal, maintaining complete operating room sterility.

Dual Gas Compatibility (CO₂ & N₂O)

Operates on Carbon Dioxide (−78°C) and Nitrous Oxide (−89°C). A single cylinder serves approximately 60 procedures.

Continuous & Discontinuous Modes

Supports continuous freezing and discontinuous freeze-thaw cycles — providing precise control over ice ball formation and depth.

Automatic Probe Cleaning System

Probe cleaning cycle can be triggered automatically or manually via foot switch, preventing blockage mid-procedure without breaking sterility.

Specialty-Specific Probe Shapes

Purpose-designed cryoprobes — angled, convex, cylindrical, needle-tip, spatula, and spray types for precise anatomic targeting.
